The incident occurred on August 15 at around 5:45 p.m. on the 3600 block of West Addison Street. The woman, who had boarded a southbound Red Line train at Morse before transferring to a westbound Addison bus, reportedly attacked the man with a “stick-like object” upon exiting the bus at Addison and Kimball. She then fled the scene on her bicycle heading west on Addison.
Surveillance images released by the Chicago Police Department show the suspect, described as a woman aged between 20 to 35 years old with long dreadlocks.
