Washington County Sheriff Nate Brooksby revealed in a news conference that he received a call from a former law enforcement colleague who identified Robinson as the shooter. The tragic incident took place during Kirk’s The American Comeback tour event at Utah Valley University, where Robinson climbed onto the roof of a building and fired a single shot from a rifle, fatally striking Kirk in the neck.
