Filming for The Lost Bus took place in various locations across New Mexico, including Santa Fe, Española, and Ruidoso. The production employed over 2,500 local crew members and extras, making it a collaborative effort to bring the story to life on screen.
The plot of The Lost Bus centers on Kevin McKay, a school bus driver struggling with personal battles, who is tasked with rescuing 22 elementary school students trapped by the wildfire.
