Jimmy Kimmel is set to end his brief hiatus.
His late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” will make its comeback on ABC this Tuesday evening.
The Walt Disney Company provided an explanation to TMZ stating, “Last Wednesday, we decided to halt production to avoid exacerbating the emotional climate in our nation. The comments made were deemed ill-timed and insensitive. After engaging in thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, we have concluded to resume the show on Tuesday.”
