Michael Jackson‘s alleged victims, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, are pursuing a staggering $400 million from MJ’s estate. This demand pertains to allegations of abuse, making waves in both the public eye and legal circles.
Recent court filings, obtained by TMZ, have revealed this jaw-dropping figure during a discussion over legal fees linked to a dispute with Paris Jackson.
To this point, the specific amounts Robson and Safechuck aimed to claim remained under wraps as they continued their litigation against Jackson’s companies, MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures.
The estate claims it is currently inundated with legal challenges, ensnared in at least five lawsuits and arbitrations. Meanwhile, Paris is contesting the estate’s lawyers over increasing legal costs, stemming from their pursuit of various actions, including the lawsuits against Safechuck and Robson.
The estate warns that if their lawyers are not compensated for their work, it could lead to catastrophic consequences, potentially jeopardizing their defense against Robson and Safechuck’s claims.
As previously reported, both Robson and Safechuck allege they were subjected to molestation by Michael Jackson during their childhood, detailing these claims in the notorious HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland.” Despite the gravity of these accusations, Jackson himself was never convicted of any crime, and his companies maintain a firm denial of these allegations.
