Hallmark is returning to the iconic Biltmore Estate with a new love story in the works. Holland Roden and Niall Matter are set to star in this upcoming film, portraying characters who start off as acquaintances in the Gilded Age and evolve into something more in the present day. Jonathan Frakes, known for his role in the original 2023 film “A Biltmore Christmas,” will reprise his role in this new installment set to be a part of the 2026 Countdown to Christmas lineup.
Production for the film is scheduled to begin next month at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, as well as at various locations in the city including the Fine Arts Theatre, Pack’s Tavern, and downtown Asheville. The movie will be directed by Dustin Rikert, known for his work on other holiday films like “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story” and “The Christmas Quest.” The script is penned by Marcy Holland, the writer behind the original “A Biltmore Christmas,” with David O’Donnell serving as the executive producer.

The sequel will continue to explore the beauty of Biltmore, highlighting locations such as the Rooftop, Pergola, Swimming Pool, Bowling Alley, and more.
The next installment of “A Biltmore Christmas” follows the story of Elizabeth and Michael, set in Christmas Eve 1895 at Biltmore House. The tale of two teenagers who share a connection transcending time and space unfolds as Elizabeth finds herself transported to the modern world with Michael, a tourist from the present day. As they navigate the challenges of being in different time periods, their bond grows stronger, leading Elizabeth to make a life-altering decision about her future.
