Artist Communities Alliance (ACA) Conference 2025
Artist Communities Alliance (ACA) is excited to announce that its 2025 conference will be held in the vibrant city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The theme for this year’s conference is Building Our Future Together, a rallying cry for individuals who believe in the transformative power of artists and the invaluable contributions of those who support the residency field. It is a time to reflect on the achievements of the past 35 years and to chart a collective path forward for the years ahead.
ACA is currently accepting proposals from its network and the broader community for panel discussions, workshops, and presentations that will inform, engage, explore, and inspire on a variety of topics. These topics include holistic support for artists, ecosystem-building within the field, and the utilization, collection, and management of data.
Mary-Kim Arnold, ACA’s Chief of Staff, emphasizes the importance of coming together in uncertain times. She states, “In times of uncertainty, it is especially important to gather, to share ideas, experiences, and knowledge. We hope to receive proposals from across the artist residency field, fostering new collaborations and innovative formats.”
Registration for the conference will open on May 27, which coincides with the deadline for proposal submissions.
