Moroccan-born Youssef Drissi was awarded the Ready-to-Wear Award for his label Late for Work. His collection, showcased during Paris Fashion Week, featured a deconstructed take on everyday staples with a touch of thrift-shop irreverence and rebellion. His clever cut-and-paste designs garnered attention for their wit and originality.
Ziyad Al Buainain, a Saudi Arabia-born designer based in London, took home the Eveningwear Award for his innovative gowns that transformed with the pull of a zip, the release of a bow, or the unfastening of a hook. His creations exuded high glamour with a hidden twist, showcasing his creativity and technical skill.
