Mildreds, the iconic vegan restaurant in London, has recently unveiled its festive plant-based menu, curated by renowned chef Sarah Wasserman. The aim is to provide a unique dining experience for all during the holiday season. The menu, designed by Wasserman, promises to capture the nostalgic flavors of the season with a creative vegan twist.
The restaurant has also undergone a redesign, adding more space and a second-floor private dining area that can accommodate up to 18 guests for special events and gatherings. Wasserman’s holiday menu features a variety of reimagined classics, hearty seasonal dishes, and indulgent desserts, all infused with bold, globally-inspired flavors.
In an interview with The Ecologist, Sarah Wasserman expressed her commitment to ensuring that no one misses out on the holiday festivities. She shared that this year’s Christmas menu includes two delicious roast options – a pine nut, cannellini, and sun-blushed tomato roast, as well as a creamy leek dauphinoise lattice. To add to the feast, they have even created a vegan Yorkshire pudding, along with a selection of decadent desserts.
The Christmas menu will be available until 12 pm on Christmas Eve, with a three-course meal priced at £44 at all Mildreds restaurants, including locations in Soho, Covent Garden, Victoria, Camden, Kings Cross, and Dalston. A two-course option is also available for £35 at select locations.
Sarah Wasserman, a prolific author with three popular cookbooks to her name, including Mildreds Vegetarian, Mildreds Vegan, and Mildreds Easy Vegan, has become a go-to resource for plant-based home cooking.
