Breaking news has emerged concerning Aalyah Mysterio, the daughter of WWE legend Rey Mysterio. Previously seen on WWE television in 2020 as the romantic interest of Buddy Murphy, now known as Buddy Matthews in All Elite Wrestling, Aalyah Mysterio is reportedly making a move towards the WWE Performance Center/NXT.
According to WrestleTalk, Aalyah Mysterio was seen celebrating with a cake that read “Florida is about to get 619’d,” indicating her possible entry into WWE’s training and development territory. Images from this celebration have been shared on social media.

Rey Mysterio was honored by being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during the WrestleMania 39 weekend. Despite his legendary status, he suffered a defeat to Ethan Page on RAW last night. During the match, Mysterio attempted his signature 619 move, but Page countered with the ring apron and executed an EgoPlex to secure the pinfall.
In another segment on RAW, Rey’s son, Dominik Mysterio, interrupted a concert featuring Joe Hendry and Danhausen. Professional boxer Ryan Garcia also made an appearance, striking Joe Hendry with a guitar. Dominik is set to face Danhausen in a “Human Monies on a Pole” match at SummerSlam 2026 this weekend.
WWE Legend Shares Aalyah Mysterio’s Request for a Photo with CM Punk
Rey Mysterio recently revealed that his daughter, Aalyah, asked for a picture with CM Punk. Back in 2010, Punk famously sang Happy Birthday to Aalyah while she was in the ring with him. Rey mentioned in an interview with MuscleManMalcolm that earlier this year, Aalyah expressed her desire for a photo with Punk.
“Believe it or not, she went to the show in San Diego for New Year’s, January 1st, and she knew that CM Punk was there and she asked, ‘Dad, can I take a picture with Punk’ and I said ‘let me tell him’ and he was very ecstatic that she wanted to take a picture with him and they took a picture together and they got along great so it was awesome,” he said.
The future prospects for the 24-year-old Aalyah Mysterio in WWE remain intriguing.
