Aaron Phypers has submitted legal documents addressing his financial woes amid a turbulent divorce… now, it appears he’s altering his strategy — aiming for a big win with the lottery!
The estranged spouse of Denise Richards was spotted at a Calabasas liquor store this week… emerging with a handful of lottery tickets.
Take a look at the images… Phypers wears a serious expression — clearly burdened by many thoughts.
We reported earlier… Phypers has requested a judge’s permission to access a joint bank account he claims to share with Richards — emphasizing that he urgently needs $150K to “get by.”
He asserts that the sum requested is merely a small fraction of the total in the accounts… however, if not granted, he fears his family could be “evicted and left without a home.”
As has been widely reported… Phypers and Richards are embroiled in a contentious divorce. Richards has alleged Phypers has hurt her, while Phypers has claimed that Richards was unfaithful. Both parties deny the other’s allegations.
Police were summoned to their residence — where Aaron currently resides with his family — back in August when Richards attempted to retrieve a dog despite a restraining order against her.
Phypers’ recent streak of misfortune hasn’t been ideal… yet, he seems determined to turn it all around with one significant lottery win.
