Adam Levine and his partner Behati Prinsloo have officially sold their expansive estate in Montecito, California, as reported by TMZ.
Sources in real estate indicate to TMZ that the couple finalized the sale of the property for $60 million today.
Though the price was $5 million less than the initial asking price of $65 million, the couple remains in good spirits. They purchased the stunning property three years prior for $52 million, making a neat profit of $7 million!
The 13,000 square-foot estate spans nearly 3.5 acres and boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the ocean and mountains. Included are two guest houses, a gym, a tennis court, a home theater, a koi pond, and even a chicken coop. Notably, the house was originally constructed for Rob Lowe back in 2009.
Adam redesigned the interior of the home with Clements Design, the same firm known for working with high-profile clients such as the Kardashians, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lawrence, and Bruno Mars.
While letting go of the impressive 9-bedroom, 14-bathroom home may seem surprising, reports suggest the couple chose to move to a residence closer to their children’s school.
The couple shares three children — daughters Dusty Rose, 9, and Gio Grace, 7, along with a 2-year-old son whose name has not yet been disclosed.
The property listing was managed by Kurt Rappaport from Westside Estate Agency and Robert Riskin of Riskin Partners Estate Group at Village Properties. We reached out for comments, but they had none to share.
