The initial line, named “Adidas Pro Work,” is set to launch in the second quarter of 2026 through selected partners. This collection aims to merge “functional safety with comfort and style, ensuring that professionals can maintain both safety and fashion,” according to the company.
Lauren Mooney, the general manager at GLO, indicated that they will “translate” Adidas’ design philosophy into specialized footwear adhering to strict supply chain standards.
“Together, Adidas and GLO are poised to offer exceptional safety footwear that combines unparalleled protection with iconic Adidas style,” Mooney remarked.
This announcement follows Adidas’ recent results, which reported net sales of 5.95 billion euros in the second quarter and a 12% growth on a currency-adjusted basis.
For the first half of the year, this equates to a 14% increase in currency-neutral terms. To date in 2025, the brand has recorded net sales of 12.11 billion euros.
“We’ve accomplished this in spite of numerous challenges,” Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden mentioned at a press conference in July, where he shared the results in Germany. “Our brand has strong appeal. This can be attributed to our 76-year heritage and the hard work of our teams globally and centrally, which has re-engaged us with consumers.”
Gulden further noted that Adidas experienced growth across all product categories and geographies from April to June, with backlogs filled through the end of the year. Adidas’ goal is to be the frontrunner in every market except North America, where they aim to double their business.
The German sportswear company is slated to publish its upcoming earnings report on October 29.
