CBS News has announced its new anchor team for “CBS Saturday Morning” as Adriana Diaz and Kelly O’Grady. The duo will make their debut on Saturday, Jan. 10, hosting the two-hour program live from Studio 57 in the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.

Diaz and O’Grady will not only co-host “CBS Saturday Morning” but will also take turns as weekday co-hosts on the CBS News 24/7 free streaming service’s “Mornings” alongside Vladimir Duthiers. Diaz will continue her role as a reporter across CBS News platforms, while O’Grady will focus on covering business, technology, and the economy.

“CBS Saturday Morning” is known for its original reporting and signature segments like The Dish and Saturday Sessions, where viewers can enjoy conversations with top artists, authors, chefs, and musicians. The show, produced by senior broadcast producer Tony Dipolvere, aims to provide viewers with a better understanding of the week’s top stories.

Shawna Thomas, executive producer of “CBS Mornings,” expressed her excitement about Diaz and O’Grady joining the team, stating, “We want our audience to walk away with a better understanding of the stories that are shaping their lives and the world around them. Adriana and Kelly’s unique blend of experience will make that possible. We are excited for our viewers to start their weekends with them.”

Diaz, who has been with CBS News since 2012, shared her enthusiasm for the new role, saying, “SATMO’ is a true family that has always welcomed and given me incredible opportunities to tell in-depth stories. The show has a long history of phenomenal journalists who have led it, and I hope to honor that legacy alongside Kelly, who is a wonderful partner. I look forward to spending Saturday mornings together with our viewers!”

O’Grady, who joined CBS News in 2024, expressed her dedication to helping viewers start their weekends in a thoughtful and uplifting way. She also emphasized the importance of continuing her business reporting to provide clarity and context on economic issues that impact everyday decisions.

Diaz, a multilingual journalist who speaks Spanish, advanced French, and Mandarin, has a background in public and international affairs from Princeton University and dual master’s degrees from Columbia University and France’s Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. O’Grady, on the other hand, started her career in the financial industry and holds both an MBA and undergraduate degree from Harvard University.

With their combined experience and expertise, Diaz and O’Grady are set to bring a fresh perspective to “CBS Saturday Morning” and “Mornings,” offering viewers informative and engaging content to kickstart their weekends.
