Netflix has completed the casting for its anticipated series adaptation of “The Age of Innocence.”

Joining the cast are Fiona Glascott (“Julia,” “Brooklyn,” “Fantastic Beasts”), Belinda Bromilow (“The Great,” “The Roses”), and Emma Shipp (“Rivals,” “What it Feels Like For a Girl”), who will all serve as series regulars. They will join previously announced actors Camila Morrone, Kristine Froseth, Ben Radcliffe, and Margo Martindale.

Additionally, several new recurring cast members have been announced: Hayley Mills (“Trap,” “Arthur’s Whisky”), Ryan Morgan (“Mix Tape,” “The Mongoose”), Will Tudor (“Industry,” “Wolf Hall”), John Light (“Around The World in 80 Days,” “Showtrial”), Steven Pacey (“Mobland,” “Nuremberg”), Kel Matsena (“Mad Heidi,” “Mix Tape”), Lucia Balordi (“A Testa Alta”), Elly Roberts (“Sex Education,” “Black Cake”), Jack Cutmore-Scott (“Buffy” and “Frasier”), Anna Madeley (“1949,” “All Creatures Great and Small”), and Michael Cochrane (“Downton Abbey,” “Sharpe”).

You can find complete character descriptions below.

The series adaptation of “The Age of Innocence” was first announced in April. The official synopsis reads:

“Based on Edith Wharton’s timeless novel of forbidden love set in 19th-century New York, ‘The Age Of Innocence’ is a deeply emotional love triangle that delves into themes of freedom, duty, identity, and various forms of love. This modern retelling stays true to Wharton’s original narrative while resonating with today’s audience, exploring the lavish ballrooms and intimate quarters of these young characters, pondering the essence of love and lust, and whether we are guided by our intellect or our emotions.”

Emma Frost will pen all episodes and take on the role of executive producer and showrunner. Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Tracey Cook from Chernin Entertainment will serve as executive producers alongside Pavlina Hatoupis. Shannon Murphy will helm the first three episodes as executive producer and director, with Lisa Bruhlmann and Natalia Leite also directing.
