WASHINGTON — Air Force General’s Scandalous Relationships Exposed

A two-star Air Force general, Maj. Gen. Christopher Finerty, was recently exposed for engaging in “unprofessional and inappropriate relationships with multiple women,” as revealed in a damning report by the Air Force Inspector General.

The report detailed how Finerty violated military laws by having improper sexual relationships with five women, including an enlisted service member, a married Defense Department civilian employee, and three Capitol Hill staffers.

From sexting with a female enlisted airman to engaging in explicit conversations with Capitol Hill staffers, Finerty’s actions were found to be in violation of the Military Code of Justice.

Despite arguing that his personal relationships did not interfere with his professional duties, the report highlighted concerns of “favoritism,” “conflict of interest,” and “preferential treatment” within the Air Force due to his behavior.

Ultimately, Finerty was demoted to brigadier general and retired from the service in November following the investigation.
