Al Pacino, the legendary actor, recently announced his split from girlfriend Noor Alfallah after 16 months together. The couple welcomed their son Roman during their relationship, but Pacino has now revealed that he believes he will die a bachelor. In his new memoir, the 84-year-old actor expressed his views on marriage, stating that he sees it as “an entrance to the pain train” and that it has never suited him.
Pacino, who is also a father to daughter Julie and twins Anton and Olivia from previous relationships, first started dating Alfallah in 2022. They met at a dinner party in the late 2010s and began spending more time together during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite their split, Pacino and Alfallah remain good friends and co-parents to their son Roman.
In a recent interview with People, Pacino clarified his relationship status by stating that he and Alfallah are now just friends. A spokesperson for the actor further explained that they have been good friends for years and are focused on co-parenting their son.
Alfallah, a producer known for her work on films like The Apprentice, shared insights into their romance in a previous interview with Vogue Arabia. She described how their relationship blossomed from friendship to something more during the pandemic, with Pacino living close to her house and them spending every day together.
Despite their separation as a couple, Pacino and Alfallah continue to support each other. At Alfallah’s recent birthday party, Pacino reportedly helped her blow out the candles on her cake. The actor remains open to finding a human connection that he can truly connect with, even if marriage is not in the cards for him.
