During a recent preview of her latest collection, Alessandra Rich discussed the inspiration behind her designs, citing a quote from Addison Rae that resonated with her muse. âShe always thinks about herself. Donât you think as women we have to?â Rich pondered, emphasizing the importance of self-care and self-expression.
Known for her themes of freedom in fashion, Rich took a different approach this season, focusing on the idea of solitude and self-discovery. Imagining a woman alone in her bedroom, trying on various outfits to experiment with different personas, the designer delved into the introspective nature of personal style.
âDonât you have those times when you go through your wardrobe and you try everything on and you put everything on top of a pile?â Rich mused. âBut the secret is, in order to really feel free in that moment, you have to be by yourself.â
Reflecting the eclectic mix of styles found in a wardrobe overhaul, the collection featured a diverse range of pieces. From boudoir-inspired lace dresses to sophisticated silk tea dresses, Rich incorporated tasseled belts and playful prints to add a touch of whimsy to the looks.
Notable additions to the collection included a leather boyfriend jacket, voluminous taffeta dresses, and chic two-piece skirt sets in various patterns. A standout piece was a silk Hawaiian print shirt, described as âthe shirt he could have left behind,â adding a touch of nostalgia to the lineup.
