Real Housewives of Miami alum Alexia Nepola‘s son Peter Rosello has expressed his apparent support for Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann‘s son Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr. following KJ’s recent legal troubles.
On Friday, August 21, four days after KJ’s arrest on charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual assault in Alpharetta, Georgia, Rosello, 34, reached out publicly to the Zolciak-Biermann family. The arrest occurred on Monday, August 17. Responding to Zolciak’s latest Instagram post featuring KJ’s younger brother Kash, Rosello commented, “Stay strong lil bro! Trust me..this will all pass before you know it. Blessings to you guysđ”
Rosello has a history with the legal system; in 2012, he pleaded guilty and avoided jail after a video surfaced in which he allegedly harassed and assaulted an unhoused person, as reported by the New York Post. Additionally, Rosello was arrested in 2022 following a domestic dispute with an ex-girlfriend, although the charges of battery and domestic violence were later dropped.
Meanwhile, KJ faces accusations of sexually assaulting a minor female at a Lifetime Fitness gym in Georgia on April 23. The victim, whose identity Us has chosen not to disclose, accused KJ of grabbing her, exposing himself, and forcing her to perform oral sex in a coed sauna without her consent.
A police report acquired by Us indicated that the victim underwent a medical examination, which found no male DNA in her mouth or vagina. KJ is currently detained at Alpharetta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 8.
RHOA alum Zolciak has challenged the allegations against her son, describing them as “reckless and deeply troubling” in a statement released last Friday.
“[KJ] categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” Zolciak asserted. “My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed. Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found.”
She emphasized, “False accusations can have devastating consequences not only for the person being accused but also for genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence. At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation.”
Zolciak remains confident that “facts and evidence will establish the truth” once the criminal investigation is concluded.
“We ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations,” her statement concluded.

KJ’s lawyer, Jason Sheffield, has also publicly denied the allegations against the teenager.
“First and foremost, this is not the kind of information that should be for public dissemination. These are juveniles,” Sheffield told Us on Friday. “Secondly, my client is 100 percent innocent and tried to present evidence to the arresting officer, including a passed polygraph by a notable and respected sex offender polygrapher.”
The lawyer added, “Additionally, the officer’s report notes the GBI [Georgia Bureau of Investigation] found no male DNA on or inside the areas the alleged victim claimed she was assaulted. Had the officer sat down with me, I feel certain she wouldâve never made an arrest.”
Sheffield described the allegations as “a desperate cry for attention,” claiming they were “motivated by my client’s past rejection of the alleged victim’s unwanted advances.”
“The fact that he’s been arrested and is being held without bond is a tragedy. He is not only presumed innocent but is, in fact, innocent,” Sheffield told Us. “I will work tirelessly to demonstrate to the District Attorney’s office the mean-spirited nature of these false allegations and to bring a close to this matter as quickly as possible. I’m asking the public not to presume the truth of these allegations and to give the families on both sides their space and privacy.”
KJ is one of Zolciak and estranged husband Kroy Sr.’s six children. The former couple share KJ, 15, Kash, 14, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12. Kroy Sr. also adopted Brielle Biermann and Ariana Biermann, Zolciak’s daughters from a previous relationship.
