Ioan Gruffudd Accuses Ex-Wife Alice Evans of Faking Homelessness
Ioan Gruffudd has made shocking allegations against his ex-wife, Alice Evans, claiming that she faked homelessness in order to receive more financial support from him. The Fantastic Four star revealed that he is currently paying Evans $3,000 per month in child support and $1,500 per month in spousal support for their two daughters, Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11.
In his legal filing, Gruffudd accused Evans of stopping payment on her rent, flying to Europe, and soliciting money online under the guise of being a destitute single mother on the brink of homelessness. He believes that Evans’ actions were a calculated scam to manipulate him into providing additional financial assistance.
Evans had taken to social media to express her supposed financial struggles, even going as far as to create a GoFundMe page to solicit donations for moving costs and a new place to live. She painted a picture of desperation, claiming that she was selling off her belongings to make ends meet and pleading for help to secure a deposit for a new home for herself and her daughters.
Gruffudd revealed that Evans had asked him to co-sign a lease for an apartment and provide additional upfront support for two months of rent, a request which he deemed unreasonable and financially burdensome. He stated that fulfilling her demands was “entirely impossible” for him given the circumstances.
The ongoing dispute between Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans has shed light on the complexities of co-parenting and financial support in the aftermath of a divorce. The allegations of faked homelessness and financial manipulation have added a new layer of tension to their already strained relationship.
