On August 24, Virtus.pro announced the disbandment of its active Dota 2 roster following an underwhelming year. The team, primarily composed of former Evil Geniuses BuLba stack players, only managed to participate in tier-1 events during the EWC Dota 2, failing to reach the playoff stage.

The organization stated:

“Throughout the season, the team worked hard to improve their gameplay and compete for top spots, but the final results fell short of the club’s goals and expectations. We appreciate all the work the team has put in during this time, but we believe that changes are necessary in the current situation.”

Virtus.pro plans to remain in the Dota 2 scene, aiming to assemble a new roster “capable of competing at the highest level”.

Vici Gaming disbands after narrowly missing Dota 2 TI 2026 Main Stage

Following their 0-2 loss to Team Falcons in the Elimination Round before the TI 2026 playoffs, Vici Gaming disbanded its roster. Despite a few turbulent years, the organization had fielded multiple TI-winning veterans in a strong roster this season, achieving a fourth-place finish at TI 2026.

The disbandment was confirmed via a Weibo post by Vici Gaming owner VG_Qc just hours after their TI run ended.

Team Nemesis rebuilds Dota 2 team around Jabz once again

Team Nemesis has reformed its roster following a quiet year with no notable placements. Offlaner and captain Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong remains the cornerstone of the team as they rebuild their lineup and bring in a new coach:

Following an early lower-bracket exit at this TI, his notable run concludes. It’s uncertain how many team members will remain, but the lineup of ATF, Cr1t, Malr1ne, skiter, and Sneyking, who have played 799 tier-1 games together without a roster change, will not stay the same.

Aui_2000 cited the demanding nature of a tier-1 coaching role as a reason for his retirement, revealing he intended to step down last season but continued after their TI 14 victory.
