Top executives from the tech, media, and finance industries recently gathered in Sun Valley, Idaho, for Allen & Co.’s annual conference. This event has been dubbed “summer camp for billionaires” due to the high-profile attendees it attracts.

Among those spotted entering the lodge were Apple CEO Tim Cook, Walmart CEO Doug McMillon, Disney CEO Bob Iger, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. The agenda for the conference included interviews with Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and IAC Chairman Barry Diller.

One of the highlights of the event was a statement from Altman, who expressed confidence in the ongoing artificial intelligence talent war and mentioned his plans to speak with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg during the conference.

The exclusive event also saw the arrival of other prominent figures such as Comcast CEO Brian Roberts, GM CEO Mary Barra, Spanx founder Sara Blakely, entertainment executive Casey Wasserman, and Boston Red Sox and Liverpool FC owner John Henry.

Additionally, notable attendees included OpenAI Chair Bret Taylor, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone, and billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller.

The conference provided a platform for industry leaders to network, discuss the latest trends and developments in their respective fields, and explore potential collaborations and partnerships. Overall, the Allen & Co. conference proved to be a valuable opportunity for key players in the technology, media, and finance sectors to come together and exchange ideas.
