The beauty trend for Fall 2025 is all about achieving a toasted aesthetic. This look, which applies to both makeup and hair, incorporates warm bronzy and brown tones to add a bit of heat (yes, similar to the latte makeup trend from 2023). Last night, Amal Clooney showcased this trend at the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s awards ceremony, The Albies, with the help of glam expert Dimitris Giannetos.
“The makeup drew inspiration from the latte color scheme. I aimed to keep it cohesive with the dress color,” Giannetos explained to Vogue. The look featured Charlotte Tilbury products such as the Airbrush Flawless Foundation and the Hollywood Instant Look in a Palette to achieve that dreamy bronzed effect. “I always opt for warm brown hues for dark eyes as they tend to enhance their vibrancy. A touch of burgundy also makes a difference,” he added.
For Clooney’s iconic hair, Giannetos maintained a straightforward approach. “We deepened her color for the fall season,” he noted, adding soft, face-framing strands to create a gentle and flattering appearance. He utilized the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Serum before styling, along with some Elnett hairspray to achieve the radiant shine and hold for the special occasion.
Clooney, who styles herself, fully embraced the toasted theme with a chocolate brown off-the-shoulder gown by Versace Atelier designed by Dario Vitale for the gala. Toasting to social justice, she marked the occasion with a stunning toasted beauty look—cheers!
