Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) stands out as one of the 12 High-Risk High-Reward Growth Stocks to Buy Right Now.

In its Q2 earnings announcement made on July 31, 2025, Amazon showcased a remarkable 13% year-over-year jump in net sales, amassing a total revenue of $167.7 billion. Notably, the North America Segment alone observed an 11% increase year-over-year, reaching $100.1 billion. This quarter also marked the launch of DeepFleet, Amazon’s innovative AI-driven model designed to optimize the logistics of its operations by coordinating robotic movements to minimize bottlenecks.

Amazon has scheduled its Prime Big Deal Days for October 7-8, 2025, effectively signaling the start of the holiday shopping period with exclusive offers for Prime members. Nevertheless, a significant challenge arises with the introduction of a $100,000 fee for H-1B visas, which has sparked concerns and caution among tech firms. According to The Wall Street Journal, major technology players like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft have advised H-1B visa holders to consider their travels carefully.

With a beta of 1.29 highlighting its inherent volatility, Amazon’s stock carries a promising consensus upside potential of 19.89%, maintaining its appeal among investors eager to tap into high-growth stocks.

Founded in 1994 by Jeff Bezos and headquartered in Washington, Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) operates at the forefront of e-commerce, cloud computing, online advertising, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
