AMC Networks Promotes Olivia Dupuis to Executive Vice President of Publicity and Talent Relations
Olivia Dupuis has been promoted to the position of executive vice president of publicity and talent relations at AMC Networks. In her new role, Dupuis will be responsible for leading consumer publicity and talent relations for the company’s wide range of entertainment brands and platforms, which include popular streaming services like AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK, and HIDIVE. She will also oversee publicity efforts for linear networks such as AMC, BBC America, IFC, SundanceTV, and We TV, as well as film distributors Independent Film Company and RLJE Films.
Dupuis will continue to report to Georgia Juvelis, the chief communications officer at AMC Networks, and will work closely with Jim Maiella, the head of corporate communications. She will be based in New York.
Olivia Dupuis first joined AMC Networks, then known as Rainbow Media, in 2007 as the director of corporate communications. She later transitioned to the consumer PR team at AMC, where she worked on successful campaigns for hit shows like “Mad Men,” “Breaking Bad,” “The Walking Dead,” “Better Call Saul,” “Halt and Catch Fire,” and “Preacher.”
Currently, Dupuis is responsible for overseeing press campaigns for AMC Networks’ franchise series within the Walking Dead Universe and Anne Rice Immortal Universe.
Prior to joining AMC Networks, Dupuis served as a director of public relations at Goodman Media International. She began her career in PR by working on various PBS original series, documentaries, and news programs produced by renowned names like Bill Moyers and Ken Burns.
