The opening segment of this week’s episode of “Saturday Night Live” featured host Amy Poehler alongside her close friend Tina Fey, portraying Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem, respectively.
The skit kicked off by reenacting portions of Bondi’s contentious Senate hearing from earlier in the week, where the United States Attorney General faced intense questioning regarding matters like the Jeffrey Epstein documents.
When queried about whether Trump instructed her to pursue charges against James Comey, the AG remained evasive.
“I’m not going to reveal my private discussions with the president,” Poehler, as Bondi, remarked. “I won’t disclose who dozed off mid-sentence or who repeatedly referred to me as Ivanka while also patting his lap.”
Before long, Fey’s Noem made her entrance, armed with an automatic weapon.
“That’s right, it’s me, Kristi,” Noem announced during her entrance. “I decided to spell my name with an ‘I’ because that’s how I thought it was spelled.”
