Anastasia Potapova is taking full advantage of her break following a disappointing Wimbledon exit. Ranked 27th in the world, she faced a straight-sets loss to unseeded Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in the first round, after which she embarked on a seaside holiday.
During her vacation, Potapova has been sharing moments with her followers on social media. Approximately five days ago, she posted a series of photos wearing a cherry-print bikini while on the water. She then uploaded more vacation pictures on Sunday, July 12, this time in a new bikini while enjoying the beach.
Thanks for the submission!
The bikini she wore appears to be a Gucci GG monogram triangle string set in a beige-and-grey color, reportedly costing around $900. The design includes adjustable halter ties, a low-rise bottom, and gold hardware detailing.
Potapova is among several players who are relaxing after Wimbledon. Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, and Elena Rybakina are also taking post-tournament breaks before the North American hard-court season.
Anastasia Potapova’s 2026 season so far
This year, Potapova’s season has been a mix of ups and downs. She started slowly and briefly dropped out of the top 90. However, she gained momentum at the Australian Open, reaching the fourth round with a notable victory over Emma Raducanu before falling to World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka.
Her most significant achievement came during the clay season. As a lucky loser at the Madrid Open, Potapova made an impressive run to the semifinals, defeating World No. 2 Elena Rybakina and becoming the first lucky loser in WTA 1000 history to reach the semifinals. She maintained her form in Rome and matched her best Grand Slam result with another fourth-round finish at the French Open.
The grass season ended on a low note with a straight-sets loss to Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in the first round at Wimbledon. Potapova now looks ahead to the North American hard-court season, aiming to regain the form that highlighted her clay-court performances.
