Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has initiated a legal battle against Andrew Tate.

The state’s attorney general has commenced a criminal probe into the activities of the British-American influencer, Andrew Tate, and his brother Tristan. The Tate brothers recently arrived in Florida after being released on human trafficking charges in Romania.

Andrew Tate boldly claimed that authorities will not be able to incriminate him since he regularly deletes all data from his electronic devices.

During an interview with Candace Owens, Tate defiantly stated, “Come get me, arrest me, perp walk me, put me on the news. Tell everyone I’m a human trafficker.” He further challenged investigators by asserting his preparedness and diligence in safeguarding his electronic data.

Tate, aged 38, expressed his innocence and criticized Florida authorities for seizing his electronics without specifying the alleged wrongdoing he is being investigated for.

He insinuated that Governor DeSantis and Attorney General James Uthmeier are targeting him out of fear, claiming, “They fear me because of my political influence. I can galvanize the masculine youth in any direction that I believe fit.”

He also suggested that Governor DeSantis may be apprehensive about his wife, Casey, potentially running for governor and that his influence could pose a threat to her candidacy.

However, a source from Governor DeSantis’s office refuted Tate’s claims, stating that the governor is focused on upholding justice and is not swayed by Tate’s bravado.

Attorney General Uthmeier has launched a criminal investigation into the Tate brothers, seeking subpoenas and search warrants in their case. A preliminary inquiry was conducted into the allegations against Andrew and Tristan Tate.

Accused of running a criminal ring that exploited women in Romania, the Tate brothers have vehemently denied any wrongdoing. Pressure from the Trump administration led to the lifting of travel restrictions by Romanian officials, allowing the brothers to return to the US. However, they are required to return if summoned by judicial authorities.

One of the alleged victims from the Romanian case hails from Florida. She accuses the Tates of deceiving her into traveling to Romania under false pretenses and pressuring her into working as a pornographic model upon her arrival.

It remains uncertain if these allegations are part of the ongoing Florida investigation. Attorney General Uthmeier refrained from disclosing specifics but affirmed his commitment to employing all available resources to ensure accountability for the Tate brothers.

He emphasized, “These guys have openly admitted to engaging in soliciting, trafficking, and exploiting women globally. Such behavior is unacceptable in Florida, and we will not tolerate it.”
