Angelina Jolie Delves into Agony of Brad Pitt Divorce for New Female Gangster Role
Angelina Jolie, known for her versatility as an actress, is set to take on a new challenging role in an upcoming project. After the success of her previous film, Maria, where she portrayed the opera icon, Jolie is gearing up for another intense performance.
In a recent interview, Jolie revealed that she had to deceive the director of Maria, Pablo LarraÃn, about her singing abilities to land the role. She confessed, “I had never sung before. I had somebody once tell me I couldn’t sing, and it really affected me. So, when Pablo asked me if I could sing, I lied.”
Despite her initial bluff, Jolie soon realized the challenge she had taken on during her first vocal lesson for the film. “I quickly learned that you can’t fake singing opera. I was overwhelmed when the vocal coach asked me to start making sounds,” she shared.
Jolie’s dedication to her craft is evident as she delves deep into the emotional turmoil of her character. Drawing from her own personal struggles, including her highly publicized divorce from Brad Pitt, Jolie is channeling her pain into her portrayal of a female gangster.
With her past experiences fueling her performance, Jolie is poised to deliver a raw and authentic portrayal of a complex character. Her willingness to confront her own vulnerabilities and use them to enhance her acting sets her apart as a truly talented and dedicated artist.
