Delving into the work of fashion illustrator Christian Bérard in Monaco, Sui found herself captivated by the delicate and dreamy lines of his sketches, which served as a foundation for her moodboard.

Exploring the “Colour Revolution” exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, Sui was drawn to the vibrant aniline dyes of the era, influencing the rich greens and purples that dominate her collection. Additionally, the Sargeant exhibitions in London and New York left a lasting impression on Sui, particularly the way Sargeant portrayed women, clothes, and textiles with such intricate detail.

Sui’s eclectic taste is evident throughout her collection, featuring cameo jewelry by Classic Hardware, colorful clog sandals by John Fluevog, and whimsical long-handled bags inspired by vintage stuffed animals. One standout piece from the collection is a black-and-white wallpaper motif skirt suit, reminiscent of a vintage discovery.
