Authorities in Dallas have identified what they suspect to be the vehicle of anti-ICE shooter Joshua Jahn. The vehicle reportedly featured a map indicating areas affected by radioactive fallout, attached to the right rear quarter panel, according to Fox4 News Dallas.

Inscribed above the worn printed map on Jahn’s blue Toyota Corolla read, “Radioactive fallout from nuclear detonations have passed over these areas more than 2x since 1951.”

The displayed image seems to be a map developed by researcher Richard Miller, illustrating the U.S. regions impacted by radioactive clouds resulting from nuclear testing conducted in Nevada from 1951 to 1962.

Reports indicate that two individuals were fatally shot and at least one other was injured at the ICE office in Dallas early Wednesday morning.

Key Details on the Dallas ICE Facility Shooting

  • A gunman identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn began shooting at an ICE van within a detention center in Dallas, Texas, in the early hours of September 24.
  • Reports state that Jahn opened fire during the transfer of detainees while the portcullis to the facility was open.
  • One individual was killed, and two others were wounded. Jahn was found deceased on a nearby rooftop due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
  • There were inscriptions on the bullets, with one stating “ANTI-ICE,” as reported by the FBI.
  • The incident is under investigation as “an act of targeted violence,” as stated by Joe Rothrock, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Dallas Field Office, in a press conference.

Officials confirmed that the victims were migrant detainees, noting that no law enforcement personnel were harmed. A disturbed sniper from a rooftop shot at an unmarked van transporting the migrants to a temporary ICE facility, according to law enforcement reports.

The suspect took his own life as police approached. Additionally, the message “ANTI-ICE” was inscribed on unspent shell casings found near his remains, officials revealed.
