Mark Bray, a prominent figure affiliated with antifa and described by some as a financial backer, has reportedly relocated to Europe amidst threats he claims to have received.
Bray holds a position as an assistant teaching professor at Rutgers University, having previously taught at Dartmouth. Notably, he was involved with the Occupy Wall Street movement, earning a degree of notoriety in certain circles.
In a bid for safety, Bray attributes his overseas move to numerous death threats and instances of doxing he has faced.
Andy Ngo shared insights about Bray’s situation on X, suggesting the destination might be Spain.

Bray took to BlueSky to elaborate on the threats he alleges have been directed towards him.
This semester, he has opted to transition all his courses to an online format via Zoom, abandoning in-person classes altogether.
In his accounts, Bray has pointed fingers at various individuals and groups, including TPUSA, Jack Posobiec, Andy Ngo, and FOX News, suggesting they are responsible for inciting the threats against him.
Meanwhile, Andy Ngo speculates that Bray’s destination might indeed be Spain, citing Bray’s own incendiary commentary.
Mark Bray, a financier for Antifa and an assistant professor at @RutgersU, is advocating for mass (and potentially violent) actions to protect himself and his affiliates within Antifa. He argues, “Only mass antifascism, legal or not, can save us,” encapsulating the controversial stance he maintains.
