Aon, a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement, and health solutions, has announced the appointment of Nick Fraccalvieri as the new CEO of the global facultative reinsurance unit within its Reinsurance Solutions division. Effective from 1 March 2026, Fraccalvieri will take on this key leadership role, overseeing the strategic direction and execution of Aon’s global facultative reinsurance strategy.
Fraccalvieri joined Aon in 2023 and has been serving as the CEO of EMEA facultative reinsurance activities. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new position. During his tenure at Aon, Fraccalvieri has successfully managed a team focused on developing the facultative reinsurance segment for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
In his new role, Fraccalvieri will be responsible for placing ceded facultative business at the core of Aon’s approach, collaborating across the Risk Capital platform, and driving sustainable growth initiatives. He will also lead efforts to enhance digital capabilities and talent programs to ensure Aon remains at the forefront of meeting client needs in a rapidly evolving risk environment.
Fraccalvieri will be succeeding Andrew Laing, who will be transitioning to focus solely on his role as UK CEO of Reinsurance Solutions. Laing, who has led the global facultative reinsurance team for the past decade, will continue to be involved as the global chair of facultative for Reinsurance Solutions.

Aon recently reported a significant increase in net income attributable to shareholders, with a 136% jump to $1.7 billion for the fourth quarter of 2025 compared to $716 million a year earlier.
