Apple is gearing up for its highly anticipated iPhone 16 event, set to take place on September 9 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET at the Steve Jobs Theater on Apple’s campus. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be livestreamed on Apple’s website.

Rumors suggest that the new iPhone 16 series will feature some exciting updates, including the possibility of a dedicated button for taking photos on the Pro models. This addition, along with the inclusion of an action button for all models, promises to enhance the user experience.

Following the introduction of Apple Intelligence at WWDC 2024, Apple has been steadily rolling out new features to the iPhone 15 Pro models through developer betas. These features are expected to be fully available to consumers with the public release of iOS 18, with additional Apple Intelligence-powered features likely to be exclusive to the iPhone 16 lineup.

In addition to the new iPhones, Apple may also unveil the Apple Watch 10, boasting a larger screen and a more powerful chip. Furthermore, there are rumors of two new AirPods being introduced at the event.

JS will be on hand to cover the event live, providing updates and insights as they unfold. Stay tuned for all the latest news and announcements from Apple’s “glowtime” iPhone 16 event.
