Apple Accelerates Development of AI Wearables and Gadgets
Recently, The Information revealed Apple’s plans to create an AI wearable device resembling an AirTag. This device, described as a pendant with built-in cameras that can be attached to a user’s clothing, aims to enhance user experience through AI technology. Bloomberg has further reported that Apple is ramping up the development of this device, as well as two other AI-powered gadgets, to compete with other tech giants in the market.
Apart from the AI pendant, Apple is also fast-tracking the production of its upcoming AI-powered smart glasses, internally known as N50. These smart glasses, rumored to feature a high-resolution camera, are set to hit the market sooner rather than later. As per Bloomberg, Apple aims to begin production as early as December, with a public release expected in 2027. This move is strategic as it positions Apple to rival competitors like Meta and Snap, who are also working on similar smart glasses offerings.
Furthermore, Apple is reportedly working on AI-enabled AirPods to complement its wearable and smart glasses lineup. These new gadgets will be designed to seamlessly integrate with the iPhone and leverage Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant, as a key component of the user experience. While the AI pendant and AirPods will cater to a broader audience, the smart glasses are described as more upscale and feature-rich, offering a premium experience for users.
As Apple gears up for the release of its AI wearables and gadgets, the tech industry eagerly anticipates the impact these products will have on the market. Stay tuned for more updates as Apple continues to innovate and push the boundaries of AI technology.
