Apple to Launch AI Coach in Updated Health App
Apple is gearing up to release a revamped version of its Health app, complete with an AI coach that can provide users with personalized advice on how to improve their overall health and wellness. This exciting development comes from a recent report by Bloomberg’s tech expert, Mark Gurman.
Gurman initially hinted at this innovative feature back in 2023, and now it seems that Apple is making significant progress in its development. The new Health app with AI capabilities is expected to hit the market as early as the spring or summer of 2026, coinciding with the launch of iOS 19.4.
One of the standout features of the AI coach is its ability to analyze data from various medical devices used by the users. This information will be used to offer tailored advice, including personalized food tracking recommendations. Apple is currently training the AI coach using data from in-house physicians, and they plan to expand this training with contributions from external healthcare professionals.
According to Gurman’s sources, the upcoming service is tentatively named Health+. This new addition to the Health app is poised to revolutionize how users manage their health and well-being, providing them with valuable insights and guidance based on their individual health data.
