Man Killed in Humboldt Park After Argument Escalates into Fatal Shooting


An altercation between individuals in separate vehicles tragically resulted in the death of a 35-year-old man in Humboldt Park, as reported by the Chicago Police Department. The perpetrator responsible for the fatal shooting is currently at large.

According to CPD, the victim engaged in a verbal dispute with a man in another car on the 1700 block of North Spaulding around 2:46 a.m. When the victim exited his vehicle, the other individual, who remained seated, fired multiple shots.

The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to Stroger Hospital.

Eyewitnesses who were present in the victim’s car informed authorities that the suspect may have been driving an older model gray Infiniti sedan.

This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the senseless violence that continues to plague our communities. The Chicago Police Department is actively investigating the case and urges anyone with information to come forward.
