Arnold Schwarzenegger Spreads Thanksgiving Joy at Hollenbeck Youth Center
The Hollywood movie star and former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, continued his annual tradition of giving back to the community by handing out turkeys to families in Los Angeles for over three decades. Recently, he was spotted at the Hollenbeck Youth Center alongside his True Lies co-star, Tom Arnold, spreading Thanksgiving joy.
In a recent interview, Schwarzenegger emphasized the importance of volunteering, stating, “Giving back, to me, is everything… It’s something that will stay with you forever.” His commitment to community service and philanthropy has been a cornerstone of his public persona.
Known for his action-packed roles on the silver screen, Schwarzenegger has also made a significant impact off-screen in his neighborhood of Brentwood. Last year, he made headlines for taking it upon himself to repair potholes in the area.
However, his DIY road repair efforts were met with some controversy as the city did not authorize the work. It was revealed that one of the potholes he filled was actually a service trench designated for use by the Southern California Gas Co. for permitted work.
Despite this minor setback, Schwarzenegger’s dedication to giving back to the community and making a positive impact remains unwavering. His actions serve as a reminder of the importance of lending a helping hand and spreading joy, not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year.
