Mark your calendars for the much-anticipated Asia NOW fair, set to take place from Wednesday, October 22, to Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the prestigious Monnaie de Paris, following an exclusive invitation-only day on Tuesday, October 21. In its 11th iteration, Asia NOW showcases an impressive lineup of over 70 international galleries representing diverse art practices from across Asia and its diaspora.

Returning luminaries of the fair include Esther Schipper (Berlin, Paris, New York City, Seoul), carlier | gebauer (Berlin), Sabrina Amrani (Madrid), Yeo Workshop (Singapore), NIKA Project Space (Dubai, Paris), and Kaikai Kiki (Tokyo). Notable newcomers this year include Arario Gallery (Seoul), Capsule Shanghai (Shanghai), Klemm’s (Berlin), and BAIK ART (Los Angeles, Seoul, Jakarta).

This year’s fair introduces a new segment titled the “Third Space,” dedicated to experimental and collaborative artworks. Among the key presentations are We Were Always Neighbors, curated by Sahil Arora from Method Art Space (Mumbai); a thought-provoking installation by Laila Tara H presented by Hatch Gallery (Paris); Nani Wijaya’s evocative works showcased by Metis Art and Jamie QQ Wu, and a special presentation from Ingahee Gallery (Seoul).

Under the overarching theme “Grow,” this year’s curatorial intent invites participants to explore how perceptions evolve, challenging the traditional divisions between East and West. Attendees will be encouraged to reflect on how geography, culture, and historical contexts shape our identities and interactions.

The event will feature a hearty public program with the participation of a diverse array of curators and institutions, including Anissa Touati (Researcher at Brown University; Curator of the Biennale BCK in Greece), Arnaud Morand (Independent Curator; Head of Arts at Afalula), John Tain (Curator of the Lahore Biennale 2024), Natasha Ginwala (Artistic Director of Colomboscope), and Hajra Haider (Guest Curator for Colomboscope Festival 2026).

Highlights include Ahaad Alamoudi’s “Ghosts of Today and Tomorrow,” a unique activation by the Saudi Visual Arts Commission employing light and sound to delve into themes of memory and heritage; “Under the Aegis of the Moon,” a commissioned performative piece by artist Han Mengyun, presented by Afalula; and Mohammed Al Faraj’s imaginative transformation of the Monnaie entrance featuring palm tree motifs. The Lahore Biennale Foundation will also contribute with Of Mountains and Seas, showcasing works by various artists, and a collaborative performance by Abuzar Madhu. Additionally, Colomboscope will present Reenactments of Lost Rhythms, merging performances and multimedia presentations.

Asia NOW is committed to redefining the conventional art fair format, positioning itself as a vibrant stage for contemporary artistic expressions and innovative movements emerging from Asia and beyond.
