Asian Cultural Council Offers Fellowships and Grants for Research and Cultural Exchange

The Asian Cultural Council has announced its 2026 Global Grant Cycle. Since its inception, ACC has facilitated over 6,000 exchanges across 26 countries, regions, and territories, traversing 16 diverse disciplines.

ACC offers a variety of grant and fellowship options:

• New York Fellowship: This fellowship supports artists and arts professionals for six months, allowing them to immerse themselves in the cultural atmosphere of New York City and the broader United States.
• Individual Fellowship: Similar in nature to the New York fellowship yet provides greater flexibility regarding duration, location of travel, timing, and budget considerations.
• Graduate Fellowship: Offers living stipends to eligible students from Asian nations who are accepted into graduate programs in the United States.
• Organization Grant: Designed to assist organizations engaged in programming that enhances cultural research and facilitates access to artistic environments or cultural resources in specific regions.

ACC’s grants and fellowships provide more than just funding; they offer grantees the invaluable opportunity to experience life within a new culture, appreciating its complexities and daily nuances.

Applicants must be citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States or any of the 25 eligible Asian nations, regions, or territories. Detailed application guidelines and required materials can be found on the ACC website.
