On Thursday, tragedy struck as an assailant armed with an explosive device launched a violent attack at a synagogue in Manchester, UK, resulting in the deaths of at least two individuals and injuries to four others during the sacred Jewish observance of Yom Kippur.

The perpetrator, seen donned with what appeared to be an IED belt, approached the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, creating a scene of panic and chaos.

In an unfortunate twist of commentary, Muslim influencer Bushra Shaikh directed blame towards the Jewish community.

Despite the circumstances, a Muslim influencer has accused Jews for the Synagogue attack today in Manchester. One must question the ability to hold back such vitriolic responses. pic.twitter.com/4HaMp6ZvDo

The Israeli Embassy in the UK issued a strong condemnation of the attack.
