Aubrey O’Day has made it clear that she will not be testifying in the high-profile trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs. The former Danity Kane singer confirmed this decision on a podcast hosted by T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, after reports surfaced that she had been subpoenaed to testify and had traveled to New York City for that purpose.
In her conversation with T.J. and Amy, Aubrey explained that she was in New York City for her own enjoyment, not to testify in the trial. She clarified this by posting on Instagram about her time in the city, making it clear that she was not there to take the stand.
While Aubrey is not testifying, she did reveal that she was contacted by Homeland Security and had a meeting with them. However, she did not provide any further details about the nature of the meeting.
The federal trial against Diddy is ongoing, with the music mogul pleading not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy. His ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, testified earlier in the week and made shocking revelations about her relationship with Diddy, including receiving a substantial payment from him following a rape lawsuit she filed against him in 2023.
After Cassie’s testimony, Dawn Richard, another former member of Danity Kane, took the stand and alleged that she witnessed Diddy assault Cassie in 2009 and saw him behave violently towards her on multiple occasions.
In a documentary by TMZ titled “The Downfall of Diddy,” Aubrey disclosed that Diddy had attempted to buy her silence with publishing rights and was aware of the manipulative tactics he used with his artists.
The trial is set to continue on Monday and is expected to last several weeks as more witnesses come forward to testify.
