The woman known as “Baby Jessica,” who became famous for her dramatic rescue from a well as a baby, is now facing allegations of domestic violence. Police reports indicate she allegedly choked her husband in the presence of her infant grandson.

Jessica McClure Morales, now 40 and a grandmother, was taken into custody after she allegedly choked her husband with such force that her nails caused him to bleed. This incident occurred during a Saturday night altercation at her home in Midland County, as detailed in an affidavit viewed by the Daily Mail.

Authorities report that McClure became furious after someone in her household advised her not to engage in a fight in front of her grandson.

According to the police report, she responded with, “F— that.”

The arrest took place nearly four decades after McClure’s own dramatic fall into a well, which saw her trapped 22 feet down an 8-inch-wide shaft for 58 hours, captivating the nation.

The affidavit reveals that Morales allegedly wrapped her hands around her husband’s neck and scratched him with her nails when he attempted to push her away, resulting in bleeding.
