In November, Emily and Baker Mayfield revealed they are expecting their second child. They shared this news through a joint Instagram post.
The couple already has a daughter named Kova Jade, and they are expecting a son in April 2026. Kova Jade was born in April 2024.
Emily and Baker Mayfield’s relationship began in 2017 after being introduced by a mutual friend, according to ESPN. They married in July 2019, and Emily frequently attends the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ regular-season games.
Baker Mayfield set for Year 9
Baker Mayfield is preparing for his ninth NFL season and his third with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was the first pick in the 2018 draft by the Cleveland Browns, where he played for four seasons and led them to a playoff appearance in 2020.
In 2022, Mayfield joined the Carolina Panthers through a trade, playing seven games before moving to the Los Angeles Rams. His time with the Rams included a notable comeback win against the Las Vegas Raiders. This performance earned him the National Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week title, finishing with 850 passing yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions over five games.
Mayfield joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a successor to Tom Brady in the 2023 season. Since then, he has been selected for two Pro Bowls and helped the team reach the postseason twice, proving his critics from the Browns and Panthers wrong.
