Harman Baweja’s Baweja Studios Partners with House of Talkies for Three-Project Deal
Harman Baweja’s Baweja Studios has joined forces with Sidharth Jain’s House of Talkies in an exciting three-project collaboration announced at Mip London. This partnership brings together two esteemed Indian production companies known for their focus on content-driven storytelling.
Baweja Studios, recognized for producing the ZEE5 original film “Mrs” starring Sanya Malhotra, which was a reinterpretation of the acclaimed Malayalam-language film “The Great Indian Kitchen, will now team up with House of Talkies. The latter is the production house behind the Netflix series “Trial By Fire,” which received the Filmfare OTT critics award for best series.
House of Talkies is affiliated with Jain’s The Story Ink, a company specializing in book-to-screen adaptations and representing a vast array of stories, authors, and screenwriters. On the other hand, Baweja Studios’ upcoming projects include “Dil Ka Darwaza Kholna Darling,” directed by Vikas Bahl and featuring a stellar cast including Jaya Bachchan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The studio is also working on “Boy From Andaman” with Richie Mehta and Imagine Entertainment, the creator of “Delhi Crime.”
