A former AEW star has taken a jab at Bayley’s ex-fiancé by alluding to a recent revelation made by Cody Rhodes about him.
The individual in question is Aaron Solo, who remains under contract with AEW but has limited television exposure. It is widely known that Solo was engaged to Bayley in 2016, but they ended their engagement five years later. Recently, Cody Rhodes revealed on his podcast, What Do You Want to Talk About?, featuring Fallon Henley, that during their time in All Elite Wrestling, Solo made an unsuccessful and humorous attempt to flirt with Henley.
This incident was humorously referenced by former AEW star Alan Angels, who shared a photo with Solo on X, captioning it “Arby’s huh.” This remark directly ties back to Cody Rhodes’ story, where Henley was holding an Arby’s bag when Solo attempted to approach her.
“Arby’s huh?,” wrote Angels.

Alan Angels recently made a one-off appearance in AEW
Alan Angels first joined All Elite Wrestling in 2020, gaining recognition as part of the Dark Order faction, where he was known as No. 5. Two years later, he departed from the Jacksonville-based promotion, expressing excitement for future opportunities in a farewell statement.
Subsequently, Angels had a short tenure with TNA before returning to the independent wrestling scene in 2025. To the surprise of many, Angels made a one-time appearance on AEW TV earlier this month, ending a four-year absence. He faced Shane Taylor on the June 6 edition of Collision, but the match was heavily one-sided in favor of Taylor.
At 28, Alan Angels still has a promising wrestling career ahead, but he needs prominent platforms to showcase his talent. It remains to be seen if Tony Khan will consider bringing him back to All Elite Wrestling on a full-time basis.
