OWN’s hit unscripted series, “Belle Collective,” is making waves with its expansion into a new franchise. The network has given the green light to “Belle Collective: Birmingham,” featuring the talented Stormi Steele as the star. Fans of the original series can also look forward to the return of “Belle Collective” for its seventh season on Feb. 13.

Stormi Steele is the powerhouse behind the multi-million dollar brand, Canvas Beauty. In “Belle Collective: Birmingham,” viewers will witness her journey as she connects with a group of ambitious and successful southern belles in the vibrant city of Birmingham. Alongside her are fellow powerhouses such as savvy CFO Amber Jones, entrepreneur Tiffaney Jones, marketing strategist Funmi Ford, model and marketer Synetta Hawkins, and talent manager K’La Inman.

The “Belle Collective” franchise aims to showcase dynamic women who embody the strength, ambition, and pride of Black female entrepreneurship. These modern southern belles are unapologetically carving their own paths and redefining what it means to be a successful businesswoman.

The original series features Kerri Paul, Lateshia Pearson, Latrice Rogers, Marie Hamilton-Abston, Selena Johnson, and Tambra Cheri. Season 6 was a hit among African American women aged 25-54, making it the most-watched original series on cable.

In the upcoming seventh season, viewers can expect to see Lateshia prioritizing herself as her marriage reaches a breaking point, Marie dealing with betrayal, Latrice facing a health scare, Selena navigating wedding planning, and Kerri tackling financial challenges with her restaurant franchise.

Both “Belle Collective” and “Belle Collective: Birmingham” are produced by Kingdom Reign Entertainment. OWN president Tina Perry expressed her excitement for the franchise’s expansion, stating that the series has become a defining show for the network by celebrating the strength and brilliance of Black women in the South.
