The Fighting Oligarchy tour is making its triumphant return.
Senator Bernie Sanders is gearing up to confront the oligarchs head-on, taking his message of economic justice to the red districts of West Virginia and North Carolina this August.
In his own words, Sen. Sanders declared, “Regardless of whether you hail from a red state or a blue one, the American populace is united against an economy that serves only the 1% while neglecting the working class. I’ll be visiting West Virginia and North Carolina to emphasize the urgent need for well-paying jobs, universal healthcare, and the dismantling of a corrupt campaign finance system that allows billionaires to purchase political influence. United, we can overcome the oligarchs who have seized control of our nation.”
For those who might assume that Sanders’ outreach is limited to his core supporters, consider this: two-thirds of individuals RSVPing for the Fighting Oligarchy rallies are newcomers to Sanders’ network. With over 270,000 attendees at previous rallies, it’s clear that the audience is expanding beyond the traditional Democratic and progressive base.
Sen. Sanders appears to be energizing a fresh wave of participants through his rallies, and now he’s set to bring this movement into the heart of red states like West Virginia and rural North Carolina next weekend.
