BET+ has announced the exciting news of picking up Tyler Perry’s latest series, “Divorced Sistas”, marking the first original show to launch under Perry’s extended partnership with BET Media Group. The series, starring LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, and Briana Price, is an extension of the popular “Sistas” universe and is entirely created, executive produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry himself through Tyler Perry Studios.
The official synopsis of “Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas” follows five close friends – Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette – as they navigate the complexities of life, love, and the challenges that come with divorce, marriage, and dating. As they support each other through heartbreak and healing, their loyalty, character, and true bond of sisterhood are put to the test.

“Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas” is scheduled to premiere on Monday, June 9 on BET, with streaming available on BET+ starting on Tuesday, June 10. This series follows the success of Perry’s original show “Sistas”, which debuted on BET in 2019 and has since amassed eight seasons and nearly 200 episodes. The spinoff series “Zatima” made its debut on BET+ in 2022.
