BigBear.ai Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:BBAI) has emerged as a leading buzzing AI stock on Wall Street. On September 23, the company unveiled plans to implement its innovative AI and orchestration technologies in collaboration with the U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet at the upcoming UNITAS 2025, a significant multinational maritime exercise noted for its long-standing tradition.

UNITAS, hosted by the U.S. Navy, is expected to engage around 8,000 personnel from 26 allied and partner countries, including the U.S. Armed Forces. This notable exercise is scheduled for September 15 through October 6, bringing together over 250 participants from more than 20 nations across all branches of the U.S. military.

In a groundbreaking partnership, BigBear.ai will join forces with the digital solutions leader SMX to present AI-enhanced capabilities aimed at improving coordination, decision-making, and threat detection during extensive maritime operations. The primary focus will be on missions addressing counter-narcotics efforts, human trafficking, and arms smuggling.

During UNITAS 2025, BigBear.ai’s domain awareness and orchestration solutions will be seamlessly integrated with unmanned vehicles and hybrid fleet technologies. The company’s ArcasTM system will be instrumental in providing computer vision, pattern-of-life analytics, and risk forecasting to deliver near-real-time predictive insights and actionable directives.

Additionally, BigBear will preview ConductorOS—its state-of-the-art AI, data, and sensor orchestration platform. This robust system is designed to function in denied, degraded, intermittent, and low-bandwidth (DDIL) environments, allowing for the deployment, training, and updates of AI models in real-time across distributed missions.

“Our role in UNITAS 2025 highlights BigBear.ai’s dedication to equipping U.S. and allied forces with mission-ready AI that creates a tangible impact in critical areas. In complex maritime domains—where illegal activities such as drug trafficking, arms smuggling, and other transnational threats place immense strain on available resources—our AI-driven insights provide operators enhanced situational awareness and a strategic advantage necessary for mission success.” – Kevin McAleenan, CEO of BigBear.ai.

BigBear.ai Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:BBAI) specializes in providing decision intelligence solutions that cover diverse fields, including national security, digital identity, logistics, enterprise operations, and the integration of manned and unmanned systems.
